Kibwe Trim

Chairman & CEO

Kibwe Trim is a former championship winning professional basketballplayer and published author. He was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago until he accepted a basketball scholarship to play at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut. He was a star player at SHU and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Information Technology while being an Academic All American and a First Team All Conference Player. He went on to play professionally having a short stint with the L.A. Clippers, then playing ten years in eight different countries and winning a championship in Okinawa, Japan. Kibwe has appeared in numerous commercials alongside many NBA superstars, but most noticeably he had a significant role in the Russian produced movie “Three Seconds” which is the highest grossing Russian movie ever made!!

He founded The DreamChaser International Foundation, because he haved a burning desire to aid young people that were doing exceptionally well in the classroom as well as in their discipline of choice. Kibwe is also a published author and has written a book titled “From Nerd To Pro.” In conjuction with his book, he is a paid motivational speaker and has spoken to youth audiences as well as corporate audiences locally and internationally. He is also the president of L.A.Lime, which is an event production company geared at forming personal and professional connections through curating varying types of networking events.

Kibwe now resides full time in Los Angeles, California with his wife and kids. 

Parveen Coomar

Parveen is a Talent Acquisition Lead Advisor at Capital Group, while not only finding top talent, tailoring and developing innovative HR solutions to fit the diverse needs of the business. She is also a Wedding Coordinator and Event Planner, having executed +100 weddings.

 

For the last 9 years, she has been a member of the Board of Directors for the National Kidney Foundation where she sits on the Event Planning Committee. 

Parveen was born in California, while her parents are from Guyana. She holds a B.S. in Applied Human and Consumer Sciences from Ohio University and has completed the Riordan Leadership Program which empowers professionals for lifelong community engagement. She's a connected leader in the McKinsey's Asian Leadership Essentials Program, a cohort-based program.
